Merope, her life, her understanding twisted by experience, her feelings really came through in this. I like the empathy you have for her. I thought Dumbledore gave her short shrift. What did he know about being uneducated, penniless, friendless, pregnant and alone?
Your voice, tone and word choice in this was excellent. Sentences like: "She won't go back, not our Merope." give a sense of observation, distance but also affection, sympathy and even some respect. I liked not just what you said by how you explained that her treatment at the hands of her brother and father distorted her to the point that she thought giving Tom a love potion was an expression of love. And in the end she took it from him to her own detriment.
