- Unspeakable Creevey was once awarded a posthumous Order of Merlin, which came as a bit of a surprise because he wasn't dead, although by the time he'd tracked the records mix-up to end of a massive, Ministry wide conspiracy of fraud and embezzlement, lots of people really wanted him to be.
- Accountancy magic is actually one of the more interesting parts of arithmancy, especially the Goblin created bits, although people tend to get bored and wander off when Dennis tries to explain this to them.
- Dennis thinks Goblins are really interesting.
- Although, to be honest, Dennis thinks everything is really interesting.
- Except Brussels sprouts, which were served far too often at Hogwarts for Dennis's tastes.
- A statistically unlikely number of Hogwarts students marry their school sweethearts but Dennis has never been given permission to investigate.
- Mostly because of the costs of rebuilding after his last Hogwarts assignment.
- Dennis isn't particularly adept at unspoken magic and has never mastered wandless, except for the blowing things up part.
- Dennis is very good at blowing things up, sometimes even on purpose.
- Everyone expected things to explode at Colin's funeral, but he was calm and quiet throughout.
- He still has Colin's camera, the one he took to the final battle, set to automatically shoot photos while Colin helped with the defence. The film is long since gone, though.
- Dennis keeps a Muggle photo of Colin on his desk at work.
- He also keeps a photo of Colin in his wallet -- a wizarding photo group shot of them and their friends at school, little photo Dennis waving hard at him -- as well as a photo of Natalie, which he keeps with him even when they're broken up and, once, when they were both dating other people.
- Sooner or later, they always get back together again.
- Although possibly only because Hogwarts is cursed, which is a bit of a disquieting thought and also why they broke up the fourth time they did.

- Dennis often complains about this, especially at lunch.
- Which tends to be in the Hog's Head in Hogsmeade, where he has the chili and chips and chats with Aberforth and Natalie when they're not broken up, and a photographer for the Quibbler.
- Dennis thinks that if you were smart and brave and rather reckless and you worked for a department dedicated to mysteries and you had access to arcane magic and polyjuice and mandrakes and time turners and you were willing to blackmail people over embezzlement schemes to cover yourself and otherwise break pretty much every rule in the book in the name of family, you could achieve pretty much anything if you put your mind to it.
- Dennis is a true Gryffindor.
